RESSOURCES FOR GALADRIEL DRESS

THE PATTERN
I used Simplicity 1551 pattern for Galadriel. I adjusted the back and the waist part so it fits perfectly my shape, but overall I used the pattern this way.
I added sleeves I patterned from scratch.
THE 3D MODELS
I designed the diadema (the simple one) and the brooch, easy to print in resin. You can find them here :
THE RING
I didn’t have money for the ring to buy the official replica from Noble Collection, so I bought a cheap one on Aliexpress. It’s quite small but the details are good.
THE WIG
I didn’t have money for the perfect wig. The best ones I found where on Fashion Wig. But it was almost 100 euros the wig, so I bought a cheap one on Aliexpress and surprisingly it works well.
I choose the colour APRIC
THE LACE
I think most of Galadriel’s fabrics are embroidered by hand. I did not have time for it, nor money to buy very high quality lace.
I found a lace with leaves patterns and sequins, as Galadriel’s lace has pearls and shines a bit.
THE WHITE FABRIC
I bought on a french website dupioni satined viscose. I used 4,5 meters of it.
THE BRAID
I used a lace not accurae but pretty, cheap and easy to get.
